Chicken Steam Roast Shadiyon wala
In this video I have explained the method of real shadiyon wala chicken steam roast. Chicken Steam Roast is a famous dish which is eaten more in shadiyon and davton. If you watch this video in full, you will find that Chicken Steam Roast is made at home.
Ingredients:
Whole garlic 1
White vinegar 1 cup
Salt 3 tsp Marination:Yogurt 1kg
Lemons 4 (keep the skins)
Chaat masala 2.5 tbsp
Salt 3 tsp
Chilli flakes 4tsp
Chilli powder 2.5tsp
Garam masala 1.5tsp
Cumin 2tsp
Corriander powder 2tsp
Turmeric 1tsp
Orange food colour
Tomatoes ketchup (optional)
Topping :
Sesame seeds
Chilli flakes
5 whole green chillies
2 lemons
Make cuts on chicken joints
Put crushed garlic in 1 cup water (10min)
Sieve the garlic water onto chicken
Add 1 cup white vinegar add 3tsp salt. Soak 20min or till chicken turns white.
Wash the chicken x5
Fry chicken in oil for around 5min high heat.
Whisk yogurt till no lumps are left. Add the marinate masalai.
Dip the chicken in the marinate. Allow to sit in marinate for hr or more. (Keep half the marinate)
Add water to steam pot
Add lemon skins
Add whole garama masalai (cumain,black pepper, cinnamon, bay leaves) 1tbsp
Add cardamoms.
Add greaseproof pappers to bottom of the steamer. So the chicken don't soak up water. And cover the
chicken with greaseproof pepper too.
The other half marinate add a little water and make it thin.
Re dip the chicken in the watered down marinate.
Mix chilli flakes & sesame seeds.
Place dipped chicken into steamer and sprinkle with chilli flake mix. Add whole green chillies &lemons into pot.
Steam first 5min on high.
Then Low heat 25min
